Devotional:
You are not just a servant — you are a friend of God. Jesus elevated your relationship with Him from distance to closeness, from duty to intimacy.
A friend of God:
• hears His voice
• knows His heart
• walks in closeness
• carries His confidence
• shares His mission
God doesn’t tolerate you — He treasures you.He invites you into partnership, conversation, and fellowship. You are His friend.
Reflection Questions:
1. How have you viewed your relationship with God in the past?
2. What does friendship with God look like in your daily life?
3. Where is God inviting you into deeper closeness?
Identity Declarations:
• I am a friend of God.
• God enjoys being with me.
• I walk in closeness and confidence with Him.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for calling me Your friend. Draw me closer to Your heart and help me walk in intimacy with You. Amen.
