Kingdom Identity Devotional
Week 38: “Laborer In God's Harvest”

Scripture:

Matthew 9:37–38 — “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Devotional Teaching:

Jesus didn’t say the harvest was small — He said it was plentiful. The only shortage is laborers willing to step into the assignment. As a believer, you are not a spectator in the Kingdom. You are a laborer — someone God has positioned, equipped, and empowered to participate in His work on the earth. Being a laborer doesn’t always look dramatic.

It looks like:

• Loving people intentionally
• Praying for others consistently
• Sharing hope when prompted
• Serving with humility
• Showing Christ through your character

The harvest is all around you — in your family, workplace, community, and daily interactions. God is already working in people’s hearts. Your role is to join Him, not by striving, but by being available. A laborer is someone who says, “Here I am, Lord — use me.” And God delights in using willing vessels.

Reflection Questions:

1. Where do you see “harvest opportunities” in your daily life?
2. What holds you back from stepping into your role as a laborer?
3. How can you be more intentional about partnering with God this week?

Identity Declaration:

“I am a laborer in God’s harvest. I am willing, available, and empowered to partner with Him.”

Prayer:

Father, thank You for calling me into Your harvest. Open my eyes to the opportunities around me. Give me boldness, compassion, and sensitivity to Your Spirit. Use me to plant seeds, water hearts, and point people toward You. I am willing and available. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
