Kingdom Identity Devotional
Week 34: “Walking In Wisdom”

Scripture:

Ephesians 5:15–16 (NKJV)“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time..."

Devotional Teaching:

Wisdom is not intelligence. Wisdom is not age. Wisdom is not experience. Wisdom is the ability to see life from God’s perspective and respond accordingly.

Walking in wisdom means:

• you move with intention
• you make decisions with clarity
• you discern what is right and what is almost right
• you recognize God’s timing
• you avoid traps the enemy sets
• you steward your life with purpose

Wisdom is not loud — it’s steady. Wisdom is not flashy — it’s faithful. Wisdom is not impulsive — it’s discerning.

Scripture says to “walk circumspectly,” meaning:

• look carefully
• pay attention
• be spiritually aware
• move with purpose
• avoid careless living

Wisdom is not about perfection. It’s about direction. And here’s the beautiful truth: Wisdom is not something you earn — it’s something God gives.

He gives wisdom through:

• His Word
• His Spirit
• godly counsel
• discernment
• experience shaped by truth
• quiet moments of listening
• the peace that confirms His leading

Walking in wisdom means you don’t rush ahead of God, and you don’t lag behind Him. You walk with Him. This week, let wisdom guide your steps — not pressure, not emotion, not impulse, but the steady voice of God.

Reflection Questions:

1. Where in your life do you need God’s wisdom right now?
2. What decisions have you been making from impulse instead of discernment?
3. How can you slow down and listen for God’s direction more intentionally?

Identity Declarations:

• I walk in the wisdom of God.
• My steps are guided by discernment and clarity.
• I redeem the time and steward my life well.
• The Holy Spirit leads me into wise decisions.
• I move with intention, purpose, and understanding.

Prayer:

Father, fill me with Your wisdom. Help me walk carefully, intentionally, and with spiritual clarity. Guide my decisions, steady my steps, and teach me to redeem the time. Let Your wisdom shape my life and direct my path. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
