Scripture:
Ephesians 3:16 (NKJV)“…to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man.”
Devotional Teaching:
God never intended for you to live from your own strength. Human strength runs out. Human willpower breaks down. Human resolve fades. But the Holy Spirit strengthens you in the inner man — the deepest part of who you are. This is not surface strength. Not emotional hype. Not temporary motivation.
This is spiritual strength:
• strength that endures
• strength that stabilizes
• strength that carries you through storms
• strength that empowers obedience
• strength that fuels transformation
The “inner man” is:
• your spirit
• your identity
• your core
• the place where God dwells
• the seat of your convictions and courage
When the inner man is strong:
• pressure doesn’t break you
• temptation doesn’t pull you
• fear doesn’t control you
• discouragement doesn’t define you
• spiritual growth becomes natural
The Holy Spirit strengthens you with might — the Greek word dunamis, meaning:
• supernatural power
• explosive strength
• divine ability
• God‑given capacity
This is not you “trying harder.” This is God empowering you from within.
Transformation happens when the Holy Spirit strengthens:
• your resolve
• your faith
• your endurance
• your identity
• your spiritual backbone
This week, lean into the truth that you are not weak, empty, or depleted. You are being strengthened — daily, deeply, supernaturally — in the inner man.
Reflection Questions:
1. Where do you feel spiritually or emotionally drained right now?
2. What would it look like to rely on God’s strength instead of your own?
3. How have you seen the Holy Spirit strengthen you in past seasons?
Identity Declarations:
• I am strengthened with might in my inner man.
• The Holy Spirit empowers me with supernatural strength.
• I am resilient, steady, and spiritually grounded.
• God’s power is working in me from the inside out.
• I walk in divine strength, not human effort.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, strengthen me in the inner man. Fill me with Your power, Your endurance, and Your courage. Renew my strength where I feel weak and fortify my spirit where I feel stretched. Let Your might rise within me and empower me to walk in everything You’ve called me to. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
