Scripture:
Galatians 5:22–23 (NKJV)“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self‑control…”
Devotional Teaching:
Fruit is not forced — it’s produced. You don’t strain to make fruit grow. You don’t squeeze your way into becoming more loving or more patient. Fruit is the natural result of connection. When you walk in the Spirit (Week 26), the Spirit produces fruit in you.
The fruit of the Spirit is not:
• a checklist
• a performance standard
• a spiritual competition
• a measure of worth
• something you manufacture
It is the evidence of the Spirit’s work in your life. Love grows where the Spirit is present. Joy rises where the Spirit is active. Peace settles where the Spirit leads. Patience strengthens where the Spirit empowers. Kindness flows where the Spirit softens the heart. Goodness shines where the Spirit transforms. Faithfulness endures where the Spirit anchors. Gentleness appears where the Spirit heals. Self‑control develops where the Spirit renews. Fruit is not about trying harder —it’s about staying connected longer. The more you abide, the more you become. The more you yield, the more you grow. The more you walk with Him, the more you look like Him. This week, don’t focus on producing fruit. Focus on staying connected to the One who produces it in you.
Reflection Questions:
1. Which fruit of the Spirit do you sense God developing in you right now?
2. Where do you feel resistance — and what might the Spirit be inviting you to surrender?
3. How can you stay more intentionally connected to the Holy Spirit this week?
Identity Declarations:
• The Holy Spirit produces His fruit in me
.• I grow as I stay connected to God
• Love, joy, and peace flow from my life.
• Patience, kindness, and goodness are being formed in me.
• I walk in Spirit‑produced strength, not self‑produced effort.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, produce Your fruit in my life. Help me stay connected to You in every moment. Grow in me what I cannot grow on my own. Shape my character, soften my heart, and let my life reflect Your presence .In Jesus’ name, Amen.
