Scripture:
Ephesians 4:23 (NKJV)“…and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.”
Devotional Teaching:
Transformation doesn’t begin with behavior — it begins with belief. God doesn’t change your life by forcing you to act differently. He changes your life by teaching you to think differently. This is why Scripture calls you to be “renewed in the spirit of your mind.” Not just your thoughts. Not just your opinions. Not just your ideas. The spirit of your mind — the inner posture, the internal atmosphere, the deep place where identity is formed.
Renewal means:
• replacing old patterns with God’s truth
• uprooting lies that shaped your identity
• shifting from survival thinking to kingdom thinking
• aligning your inner world with God’s perspective
• allowing the Holy Spirit to reshape how you see yourself, God, and life
You cannot walk in a transformed life with an untransformed mind.
The enemy knows this, which is why he attacks:
• your self‑worth
• your confidence
• your perception of God
• your sense of purpose
• your internal narrative
But the Holy Spirit renews:
• your identity
• your thinking
• your desires
• your perspective
• your inner strength
Renewal is not a one‑time event — it’s a daily exchange: Your thoughts for His truth. Your fears for His promises. Your assumptions for His wisdom. Your limitations for His possibilities. This week, lean into the truth that transformation begins inside you. As your mind is renewed, your life will follow.

1. What old thought patterns still try to shape your identity?
2. Where do you sense the Holy Spirit inviting you into new thinking?
3. What truth from God’s Word do you need to meditate on this week?
Identity Declarations:
• My mind is being renewed by the Holy Spirit.
• I reject old patterns and embrace God’s truth.
• I think with clarity, confidence, and kingdom perspective.
• My inner world is aligned with God’s Word.
• Transformation is happening in me daily.
Prayer:
Father, renew my mind by Your Spirit. Uproot every lie, every fear, and every old pattern that no longer belongs in my life. Fill my thoughts with Your truth and reshape my inner world according to Your Word. Transform me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
