Scripture:
1 John 3:1 (NKJV)“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”
Devotional Teaching:
The foundation of your identity is not what you do for God — it’s how God feels about you. You are loved by the Father. Not tolerated. Not managed. Not merely forgiven. Loved. And not with a distant, formal, or conditional love — but with a love that is personal, intentional, and everlasting.
John says, “Behold…”In other words: Stop. Look. Pay attention. This kind of love is not normal. It is not human. It is divine.
The Father’s love:
• defines you
• stabilizes you
• heals you
• anchors you
• shapes your identity
• breaks the power of fear, shame, and striving
You are not trying to earn God’s love — you are learning to receive it. You are loved on your best days and your worst days. You are loved when you feel strong and when you feel weak. You are loved when you get it right and when you fall short. His love is not based on your performance — it is based on His nature. This week, let the Father’s love settle into the deepest places of your heart. Let it quiet the noise, silence the lies, and restore your confidence. You are loved — fully, freely, and forever.
Reflection Questions:
1. What experiences have shaped the way you view God’s love?
2. Where do you struggle to believe you are fully loved?
3. How would your daily life change if you lived from a place of secure love?
Identity Declarations:
• I am loved by the Father.
• God’s love for me is personal and unchanging.
• I am secure, accepted, and valued.
• Nothing can separate me from the Father’s love.
• I live from love, not for love.
Prayer;
Father, thank You for loving me with a perfect and everlasting love. Help me receive Your love deeply and walk in it daily. Heal every place in my heart that has doubted or resisted Your love. Let Your love define my identity and shape my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
