Scripture:
Ephesians 2:6 (NKJV)“…and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.”
Devotional Teaching:
Your identity is not only forgiven, redeemed, or restored — it is elevated. God didn’t just save you from something; He seated you in something. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places. This is not symbolic. It is not poetic. It is not future tense. It is your present spiritual reality.
Being seated with Christ means:
• You share His authority
• You operate from His victory
• You see from His perspective
• You stand in His righteousness
• You live above the enemy’s reach
A seat represents:
• Position — where you belong
• Authority — what you carry
• Rest — what Christ has finished
• Access — what you can approach
• Identity — who you are in Him
You are not fighting up toward victory — you are fighting down from victory.
You are not trying to climb into God’s presence — you are already seated in it.
You are not trying to earn spiritual authority — you have been given it.
This week, let these truth shift your posture:
You are not beneath your circumstances.
You are not beneath your battles.
You are not beneath the enemy’s attacks.
You are seated with Christ, above all rule, power, and dominion.
Walk like someone who knows where they sit.
Reflection Questions:
1. What situations have made you feel “beneath” instead of “seated above”?
2. How does your spiritual position change the way you see your challenges?
3. Where do you need to exercise Christ‑given authority this week?
Identity Declarations:
• I am seated with Christ in heavenly places.
• I operate from victory, not for victory.
• I carry Christ’s authority and perspective
.• I rise above every attack, lie, and limitation.
• My position in Christ is secure and unshakable.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for raising me up and seating me with Christ. Help me live from this position of authority, rest, and confidence. Open my eyes to see from Your perspective and empower me to walk in the victory You’ve already secured. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
